Founder of Urban Wise Woman

Urban Wise Woman grew from a lifelong devotion to the wisdom ways that have guided humanity across generations. Long before I became a psychologist, I was drawn to dreams, mythology, symbols, creativity, and the quiet wisdom found in nature. I have spent more than three decades exploring the practices that help us slow down, reconnect with the rhythms of the Earth, and awaken the wisdom already living within us.

My path has woven together many traditions. I have studied Jungian psychology, somatic healing, Intentional Creativity®, and initiatory traditions rooted in earth-based spirituality, including Tibetan Bön Shamanism and Dianic ritual practice. Along the way, I came to understand that these were not separate paths, but different expressions of a timeless truth: wisdom is awakened through meaningful experience, relationship, creativity, ritual, and our connection with the natural world.

Urban Wise Woman was born from women’s wisdom traditions and from a deep desire to raise women up into remembrance of the feminine wisdom that has too often been silenced, forgotten, or separated from everyday life. That origin remains woven into the heart of this work. At the same time, the wisdom found in cycles, ritual, creativity, intuition, relationship, and the living Earth is not confined by gender. As Urban Wise Woman continues to grow, the invitation is spacious enough to welcome those who feel called to these ways while honoring the feminine lineages and generations of women whose wisdom helped carry them forward.

Urban Wise Woman is where these threads come together. It is a place to gather in circle, create with intention, honor the seasons, and cultivate a life rooted in beauty, meaning, and belonging. Here, ancient practices meet modern life through creativity, ritual, symbolic exploration, and community, inviting us to remember what has always lived within.

I believe wisdom is not taught. It is awakened. My role is not to provide answers, but to create thoughtfully held spaces where people can slow down, listen deeply, trust their intuition, and discover the guidance quietly unfolding within.

Whether we gather in circle, create together in the Alchemical Studio, or meet through Wiser Ways, my hope is always the same: that you leave feeling more deeply connected to yourself, to the Earth, to one another, and to the wisdom you have carried all along.
